About that "Apple Sheep" thing...

I'm pretty sure many of you have heard, or perhaps used the term, "Apple Sheep" or "Sheeple", and I'm sure there's many more - usually as banter on forums, during those pesky Apple vs Windows or iPhone vs Android debates.

For those that haven't, it's based on the idea that Apple users tend to follow Apple and buy their products mindlessly.

While we cannot deny that Apple does have a fanbase, just like Android and Windows have fanbases, the numbers don't quite add up.

The chart from Statcounter would kinda tell me the opposite considering nearly 75% of the world use Windows and over 70% uses Android. Who's the real sheeple now 😏?

Okay but with all seriousness I know there's a lot of socio-economic factors involved that's keeping the Apple device's marketshare low in comparison, but regardless, is "sheeple" the best slur that haters can come up considering statistically it doesn't make sense? 🧐
